These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cashrot iOS application and related services (“Service”). By using Cashrot, you agree to these Terms.
The Service
Cashrot lets you set screen-time and focus guardrails on your device. When you hit a limit or choose to bypass a restriction, you may complete a consumable in-app purchase through Apple’s App Store to temporarily unlock or adjust behavior. Cashrot uses Apple’s Screen Time / Family Controls APIs to block apps at the system level.
Version 1 scope: Revenue in v1 comes only from StoreKit consumable unlock purchases. Cashrot does not hold a vault balance, charge saved cards automatically, or pay out rewards in v1. Any future escrow or penalty features would be described separately before launch.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for compliance with local laws and for keeping your device and Apple ID secure.
In-app purchases
- All digital unlocks and bypasses are sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple’s payment terms and refund policies apply.
- Prices are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase. Purchases are generally non-refundable except as required by law or Apple’s policies.
- We do not process refunds for IAP directly; contact Apple for billing disputes.
Your responsibilities
You configure your own limits and choose when to pay for unlocks. You agree not to misuse the Service, reverse engineer it, or use it in violation of Apple’s or applicable law.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL PREVENT ALL DISTRACTION OR THAT BLOCKS WILL NEVER FAIL DUE TO OS CHANGES, BUGS, OR USER ACTION. CASHROT IS NOT FINANCIAL, MEDICAL, OR LEGAL ADVICE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR AMOUNTS BEYOND WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR $50 IF GREATER WHERE ALLOWED).
Termination
You may stop using Cashrot at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend access if you violate these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator of Cashrot is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
